Roslyn Living Roslyn Real Estate

Roslyn Vacant Lots & Land Pent Up Demand

Roslyn vacant lots are in demand. All Roslyn real estate is in demand actually, but it is interesting to see that even with the Roslyn building moratorium just put into place that there is still an active buyer pool holding values up for now. As the freeze on building permits draws out, this may impact values depending on how long it takes for the city to get its codes aligned.

Do you own Roslyn vacant lots that you are interested in selling?

Curious about the value? We are happy to help you determine the current value. Here is our most recent sale – sold with multiple offers for over list on S 3rd St just up the street from the Roslyn Theatre (speaking of, according to the NWMLS, the beloved Roslyn Theatre is currently still under contract and marked as pending inspection).

Recent sale on S 3rd St – sold by Courtney Cooper

This Roslyn vacant lot was listed at $205,000 and received multiple offers in less than a week after being listed. It closed this week with a final sales price of $230,000. Here are the listing remarks: One tax parcel but 2 city lots on hillside overlooking downtown Roslyn. Property is sloped might be great for something like daylight basement construction and is large enough for possibly large detached garage.

Another vacant lot on the highway just went pending after receiving multiple offers in the first five days. It is due to close this month (we sold it). It is commercial and priced higher, but is yet another illustration of the demand that is currently in place.

Time is of the essence if you decide you may want to sell.

The Roslyn building moratorium has certainly caused concern and should be taken seriously because all accounts estimate that it will take longer than the six months stated to sort out the conflicting codes. In addition, building in Roslyn was never easy with the historical building guidelines and the Roslyn commercial overlay. Despite that, there is a verified buyer pool looking for Roslyn properties for sale and vacant lots are in demand, so now is a great time to at least know your property value.
