Homes and Happenings in Upper Kittitas County

Upper Kittitas Living: Roslyn, Ronald, Cle Elum (including Suncadia &Tumble Creek)

Roslyn, Washington Living is all about the town of Roslyn and its surrounding neighbors Ronald and Cle Elum (including Suncadia and Tumble Creek). This collection of towns, neighborhoods, and cities make up a very close knit greater Upper Kittitas County community. It’s a historic and colorful community just off I-90 not too far from Greater Seattle. The greater Upper Kittitas County area is very special and filled with wonderful businesses and friendly and creative neighbors. The community is a great place to live, work, or visit, and is an outdoor lover’s paradise with hiking and biking trails, plus close access to Snoqualmie Pass. Roslyn itself is home to many historic buildings and was also the center piece for the Northern Exposure television series in the early 90s. This website is dedicated to the Greater Upper Kittitas County starting with Roslyn, WA.

Roslyn Living

Roslyn, Washington is an incredible historic mountain town in the foothills of the Cascades where you can still see 1890s buildings in operation. Besides it’s intact old coal mining downtown core, Roslyn has great places to eat and hang out and enjoy all four seasons. Some of our favorites are The Roslyn Theatre with its unique charm and iconic Marlon Brando mural – plus it has a cool new outdoor sitting area, Basecamp Books & Bites and its Roslyn Yard, The Roslyn Mexican Grill, and Red Bird Cafe. Basecamp has a back patio with two giant fire pits fashioned out of old coal cars and the coolest Speak Easy downstairs. Roslyn Mexican Grill offers one of the best spicy menus around coupled with friendly service. Red Bird has a fantastic local atmosphere and a delicious menu. We also love Corks for sipping great wines and good conversation.
